Etna D.O.C. Irene badala is an autcono white wine. The scents are clear, at the beginning the fl oreal that is heard from a distance, when you approach the glass you can feel the hints of herbaceous and Mediterranean scrub, jute sack, hay. Pleasant freshness in the mouth, without being intrusive, savory, at the same time pasty in the mouth. Great progression and good persistence.
This late ripening grape is the main variety used in Etna DOC. It is usually found mixed with Catarratto and white Minella. As a varietal wine, Carricante produces a fresh, slightly straw-yellow, slightly fragrant white wine. The name Carricante derives from load, in reference to the strong yields of the variety.

Aging: 6 months in steel and then 60 days in bottle.
